Whether the software is any good is the easy part. The questions that decide it are about where the data lives, who can reach it, and what happens to you if we are not here in three years. Reasonable questions. Here are the answers.
Where it runs is your choice
The same software in every case. There is no cut-down version for the deployment that is inconvenient for us.
Isolation is structural
Separation between customers is enforced in the database on every single query, not by application code remembering to filter. It is the kind of thing that either holds everywhere or is worthless, so it is not left to discipline.
Access within your own install is role based, and sign-in goes through your existing identity provider rather than another password for your team to manage.
Your data is yours
- Export everything, whenever you like, in standard formats, at no cost.
- No charge for leaving, and no retention of your data as leverage.
- The full audit trail is part of what you export, so the history comes with you.
What if we are not here
A three person company is a real risk to take on, and pretending otherwise would insult your procurement team. So we would rather have the conversation up front: source code escrow, continuity terms, and what happens to a running instance if we stop trading are all on the table, and we will put whatever we agree in the contract.
If you deploy into your own cloud, you keep the running system and the data regardless of what happens to us.
Where we are honest
We are not SOC 2 certified. We are a young company and that work is ahead of us, not behind us. We will happily walk your security team through how the system is built, answer a vendor questionnaire, and tell you plainly what we do and do not have in place today.
